Solution: You can use the ARCTEXT Express Tool to align text along an ARC object. (It won't work with splines or circles, however.). At the Command prompt, enter ARCTEXT or select Arc Aligned on the Express Tools tab, Text panel. Select an existing arc. Enter the text in the ArcAlignedText Workshop – Create dialog box. This creates a special object. You can EXPLODE these ARCALIGNEDTEXT objects to get individual letters and then run TXTEXP (another Express Tool to replace the letters you select with a polyline outline).

The polyline can be used to create a tool path or extruded into 3D. 2017 Autocad Commands

Hey everyone, A majorly green AutoCAD user here (just started last week) and I am watching training videos on YouTube and AU and I am noticing a lot of these videos may be using either AutoCAD 2014 or 2015 and I am also noticing that their ribbons look entirely different from mine (see attached screen clippings). I would like my ribbon to have a full text description of each tool I'll be using as I begin my training via my father so I can begin taking over projects and such as he moves on the actually running the company like he should be. Is there any way to adjust this? I can handle and I am comfortable running scripts, command, editing program files and such. If there is already a thread on this, Moderators please send me that way!
