Pseudotv Zip File

Any such links or discussion will be removed. For discussion of those add-ons, feel free to visit. I've been using older xbmc for years and finally made the jump to Kodi. From Kodi's website I downloaded and insalled what appears to be their current version Kodi 14.2 Helix Beta 1. I then researched Pseudotv (and the pseudotvlive fork) and tried downloading and installing via.zip file various version of it, especially the stable-pre version.

Upon install attempts I'd come across dependency errors preventing the install from continuing. Upon researching the dependency errors I cam across these links listing the actual dependencies and tried to manually install them:. (this one had some bad links on the dependancies, but I would then 'fix' the bad link to get it) After manually installing those dependencies by having Kodi install addons via the.zip files, I would again try installing Pseudotv via it's zip files and it would still fail early on during the install due to missing dependencies. I then hypothesized (based on some Googling) that the Beta versions of Kodi may not fully support all of the dependencies needed to install Pseudotv or Pseudotvlive. So I then backed up my video library via an export from Kodi, Uninstalled Kodi, checked my C: users USERNAME appdata Roaming Kodi addons to make sure there was no junk left over, rebooted then reinstalled a non-beta version of Kodi 14.1.

Zip

Then I tried reinstalling Pesudotv again. It of course still failed with a dependency error. I then repeated my steps of manually installing it's dependencies. I really don't think it should have to be this hard and suspect that I'm missing something simple. Does anyone have any suggestions in my steps here? Also, Pseudotv seems to be very popular. Any idea why the XBMC/Kodi team doesn't have it as an addon that it's available to add from a list of preselected addons?

Issues 3

Thanks for any sane advice you guys might have - Guy who's about to throw my XBMC machine out the fucking 10th floor window and any other goddamn printers that cross my path today because fuck printers too. (seriously, thanks in advance for any serious replies). Thanks for the help. This got me going. I think I was either stupidly trying to install the source via.zip or installing a.zip of it from not the official location. Once I used that it seemed to install an install its dependency addons better.

It was a litle screwy though, I did have to restart XBMC a couple times during the install process because it would get hung up on installing Pseudotv (not the other addons). It would get stick at 'Downloading' at 0% for 5-10 minutes before I could restart it. Then next time it would say it's installed and doesn't need to download. Whatever, I got it installed now! Now I need to research why the channel browser within PseudoTV runs slow as hell. Sometimes taking up to 5-10 secounds to navigate up/down through the channels and about 5 minutes for the program to Exit back to Kodi. Share the PseudoTV links and I'll try here.

I've had them 'working' in the past. But you can achieve the same thing, just without the 'start in the middle of the episode' timeline effect, with smart playlists and LazyTV (but it's a little redundant, all it does is create smart playlists). Right down to which network the show is on or what actor is in it. You've gone above and beyond troubleshooting this issue, I have complete faith that you'll figure out smart playlists immediately, I can help point you in the right direction if you'd like. You said you installed from a zip?

I'm guessing you downloaded the file but not the dependencies. On the XBMC forum page for it they have links to the dependencies. It's a post with, like, over 200 pages of posts. Like said before, you can install his repo and get it from there. On my last reinstall I added fusion as a source and got their hub wizard and installed the repo and addon that way. Either his repo or hub wizard usually has the dependencies in it and you don't have to add them manually.

Only thing I had to do was change my login info for his version of USTVNow.
